“AVPro Movie Capture” is a plugin for Unity that allows recording video directly to disk as an AVI file.

Whether we’re just testing out an idea for a new effect, playing around with some parameters or producing demos for our clients we often find it useful to be able to quickly and easily capture a video from within Unity.

Previously we used screenshots and captured videos using tools like Fraps however we wanted something completely integrated into Unity and so AVPro Movie Capture was born.

The demo plays a Unity scene and records it to an AVI file using a selected codec. We recommend the lossless Lagarith codec.
